Top 3 Best Boss Fights
If we select the top three boss fights in the game, they are as follows:
- Calamity Ganon - for the sheer brutality and savagery of his boss fight. If we disable the Rods and the Rune Skills in this boss fight and allow only dodging, blocking, and attack combos, this boss fight can match the experience provided by some of the best FromSoftware boss fights.
- Thunderblight Ganon - for giving the best challenge among all the Blight Ganons. This enemy provides a perfect balance of melee, ranged, and AOE attacks. He is also one of the fastest enemies in the game, with the capability to replicate itself.
- Revali - for giving the best aerial combat with astounding music. What could have been better is if there was a re-fight between Link and Revali later in the game when they are both at their strongest and all skills and attributes are already unlocked. Being the first boss fight in the game, there are limitations due to the player still learning the mechanics and has just started unlocking character attributes and skills.
Revali
Revali is one of the four Champions and the pilot of Divine Beast Vah Medoh. You will fight him in a boss fight in the Chapter entry Revali, the Rito Warrior.
As shared earlier, Revali gives the best aerial boss fight in the whole game. His most impressive attack is the Multi-Bomb Attack. View our Revali Guide to see his moveset and attacks.
Master Kohga
Master Kohga is the leader of the Yiga Clan. You will first fight him in a boss fight in the Chapter entry Urbosa, the Gerudo Chief. And then you will face a stronger version with more attack moves in the Chapter entry Destroy the Yiga Clan!
The most impressive attack of Master Kohga is the Replication Attack, basically because there are two of them. View our Master Kohga Guide to see his moveset and attacks.
This move can definitely give you double trouble.
Sooga
Sooga is the right-hand man of Master Kohga. You will fight him in a boss fight in the Chapter entry The Yiga Clan Attacks! And then you will face a stronger version with more attack moves in the Chapter entry Akkala Tower. Finally, he fights as an optional boss in the entry Destroy the Yiga Clan!
Sooga is an excellent fighter with his swords. His most impressive attack is his Rush Attack. View our Sooga Guide to see his moveset and attacks.
This attack reminds you of the sword moves of Brooke and Zoro from One Piece.
Thunderblight Ganon
Thunderblight Ganon is the scourge of Divine Beast Vah Naboris. You will first fight him in a boss fight in the Chapter entry Air and Lightning.
As shared earlier, Thunderblight Ganon gives the best boss fight among all the Blight Ganons. His most impressive attack is the Lightning Beam Attack. View our Thunderblight Ganon Guide to see his moveset and attacks.
Windblight Ganon

Harbinger Ganon
Harbinger Ganon is the counterpart of our friendly, little Guardian that got corrupted by Ganon. You will fight him in a boss fight in the Chapter entry The Future of Hyrule. He will not look like a harmless egg there though.
Excluding Calamity Ganon, Harbinger Ganon is the most aggressive melee fighter with some powerful AOE attacks. His most impressive attack is the Malice Nova Attack. View our Harbinger Ganon Guide to see his moveset and attacks.
Terrako
Terrako is our friendly, little Guardian, who unfortunately got infected and controlled by Ganon's malice. During this time, he temporarily became an enemy. You will fight him in a boss fight in the Chapter entry The Future of Hyrule.
Terrako is a balanced fighter, having both melee and ranged attacks. His most impressive attack is the Electric Blast Attack. View our Terrako Guide to see his moveset and attacks.
Calamity Ganon
