Death is a runeword consisting of Hel-El-Vex-Ort-Gul for five-socketed swords and axes in Diablo II: Lord of Destruction. It is one of the most powerful runeword in the game, giving you a large bonus to damage, a massive 50% Crushing Blow, and a character level-based Deadly strike.

With its Zod rune, the base equipment becomes indestructible, making ethereal weapons an ideal candidate for this.
