Our Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity - Robbie Guide is the best source of information for Robbie, giving you comprehensive details on his background, questline, and the Chapter entries where he plays a significant role.

If there are two major characters that most people are eager to see 100 years ago in the BOTW timeline, those would be Purah and Robbie. Because they are both eccentric, people are curious to find out what they are like during the Age of Calamity.

Background of Robbie

We first meet Robbie as the eccentric old scholar and scientist in one of the major quests in BOTW. He is the leading Guardian and Ancient technology researcher among the Sheikah. He created the robot that provides Link with Ancient armor, weapons, and arrows.

The thing that stays with you after meeting him is the impression of how eccentric he is. You can even hear electric guitar riffs by just listening to him speak.

Robbie in the Age of Calamity

In the Age of Calamity, we are able to meet Robbie at his prime. Together with Purah, he will help us in studying and understanding the vital information contained within the little Guardian. This information in turn helps in defeating Calamity Ganon.

In the Chapter entry Road the Ancient Lab, Robbie shares that there is a lot of technology and information contained within the little Guardian, all of which can be used in their mission to combat the calamity.

In the short time that they studied Terrako, Robbie and Purah were able to give preliminary information to Zelda and Impa, showing the ruins that Calamity Ganon will bring to Hyrule if left unstopped.

In the Chapter entry Calamity Strikes, Robbie and Purah finally complete their analysis of Terrako, but they were stopped from sharing their research with the heroes by Yiga Clan infiltrators.

Through their research, they were able to extract images that show the Divine Beasts under the control of Calamity Ganon. This information is vital because by helping the Champions, it can be prevented. Time is of the essence though. They need to help the Champions while they are still alive and not yet defeated by the Blights.

Thanks to the research of Robbie and Purah, and the help of the heroes, that bleak future is successfully averted.

We next see Robbie in the Chapter entry Relentless as a Waterfall. He was able to escape the Yiga Clan and moved to Akkala Citadel. Here he provided inspiration to the soldiers to never give up hope, as their rescue will surely come.

He also helped stopped the swarm of Guardian and monsters trying to enter the citadel by blasting the bridge with cannons.

Both Robbie and Purah joined as well in the rescue of the Hyrulean army in the Great Plateau. He recommended the use of Terrako to activate the Shrine of Resurrection, so they can help the trapped soldiers.

Robbie and Purah didn't join the final confrontation with Calamity Ganon inside Hyrule Castle, as being scientists, that would have been too dangerous for them. They were given a final glimpse standing on a Sheika Tower after Ganon was defeated.
